NCC 51 Special Entry Scheme Notification – OTA Chennai
Indian Army will open online registration for NCC 51 Special Entry Scheme from 05 October 2021 to 03 November 2021. Candidates having NCC C certificate can apply for NCC 51 course which is going to start in April 2022 at OTA Chennai. NCC C Certificate Latest one can apply for NCC C Certificate Special Entry to join Indian Army as an officer. NCC Special Entry is a short service commission entry for NCC cadets through which male and female NCC cadets can join Officers Training Academy Chennai. Indian Army has published NCC Special Entry 2021 for NCC 51 Recruitment. Defense candidates having NCC C certificate can apply for this entry. Applications are invited from unmarried male and unmarried female (including Wards of War Casualties of Army Personnel) for grant of Short Service Commission in the Indian Army.

how to apply
Interested and eligible applicants may apply Online only through the official website of Indian Army joinindianarmy.nic.in (See Application Form link given below) from 5 October 2021 to 3 November 2021.
Application will be accepted online only on the website joinindianarmy.nic.in. No offline application will be accepted.
On successful submission of online application form, system generated registration / acknowledgment slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Applicants must take a printout of it for future correspondence. Print-out / hard copy or document anywhere at this stage
All verifications will be done in due course
Applicants under the category of Ward of War Casualties should send their applications in the prescribed format (attached below) duly filled in, by post, to the Directorate General of Recruitment, RTG-A, NCC Entry, West Block-II, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066, so as to reach the Directorate General of Recruitment along with all necessary documents and certificates.
Applications arriving after the last date will not be accepted.
NCC 51 Eligibility
the nationality. A candidate must be either: (i) a citizen of India, or (ii) a subject of Bhutan, or (iii) a subject of Nepal, or (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, permanently in India. or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam permanently in India Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government. India. However, the certificate of eligibility will not be necessary in the case of candidates belonging to Gorkha Praja of Nepal.
Age Range. For NCC candidates (including Wards of War Casualties) 19 to 25 years as on 01 Jan 2022 (born not earlier than 02 Jan 1997 and not later than 01 Jan 2003; both dates inclusive).
Candidates should note that only the date of birth recorded in the Matriculation / Secondary School Examination certificate or equivalent certificate on the date of submission of application will be accepted and no subsequent request for its change will be entertained or allowed.
Candidates should note that they can appear for only one of the Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview, either SSC (NT)-115 Course (April 2022) / SSC (NT) (Female)-29 Course ( April 2022) as CDSE candidate or NCC (Spl) Entry-51 Course (April 2022). The candidates are required to give an undertaking to this effect under the declaration part of the online application.
Educational Qualification & Other Criteria
For NCC ‘C’ certificate holders
educational qualification. Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with minimum 50% marks taking into account the marks of all the years. Those studying in the final year are also allowed to apply, provided they have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the first two/three years of a three/four year degree course. Such students will be required to obtain a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the degree course, failing which their candidature will be cancelled.
Service in NCC. Must have worked for at least three academic years (22 February 2013 to present) / two years (23 May 2008 to 21 February 2013) in the Senior Division/ Wing of NCC.
grading Should have secured minimum ‘B’ grade in ‘C’ certificate examination of NCC. Applicants, who do not possess NCC ‘C’ certificate on the date of application, are not eligible to apply for the course.
For graduate candidates eligible for degree courses. Candidates who have passed the Bachelor’s degree course will have to submit the provisional/degree certificate to the Directorate General of Recruitment by 1st April 2022, failing which their candidature will be cancelled.
For candidates studying in the final year of a degree course.
Candidates studying in the final year of graduation, if not already in possession of provisional/degree certificate, will have to produce proof of having passed Bachelor’s degree examination by 1st April 2022 to the Directorate General of Recruitment, failing which their candidature will be cancelled. Cancelled. Those who are not able to produce the degree certificate/provisional degree certificate by the specified date will be included on additional bond basis only on production of proof of having passed the bachelor’s degree examination to the Directorate General of Recruitment by the above specified date.
NCC MEN. around 50 (May Change).
NCC Women. around 05 (May Change).
For Wards of War Casualties of Army Personnel (AA) Eligibility Criteria. Vacancies under Ward of War Casualties of War are available for Wards of War Casualties (including unmarried sons and unmarried daughters legally adopted):- (AAA) killed in action. (AAB) died from wounds or injuries (other than self-inflicted). (AAC) Wounded or injured (other than self-inflicted). (AAD) missing. (ab) Educational Qualification.
Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with minimum 50% marks taking into account the marks of all the years. (ac) NCC ‘C’ certificate is not required for Ward of War Casualties. (Advertisement) Details of documents to be provided in the application form (AAA) ‘War Casualty’ certificate number issued by Directorate of Manpower (Policy & Planning) (MP DTE) certifying that the parent has been killed/ Has been injured / has been reported missing. (AAB) MP DTE/Relevant Regimental Records Part II A copy of the order number notifying the injuries and which are classified as ‘Battle Casualties’. (AAC) MP 5 & 6 / Affiliation Certificate No. issued by the Regimental Record concerned.
